Reverberation Inside the Veins Adhered to the Pancreas
(2019)

IMG00013.jpg

This installation symbolizes the movement and disconnection in modern society. Countless earphones with their wires severed are piled up, visually expressing disconnection.

By blocking out the sounds of the city and the flow of the place, people who cover their ears with earphones while moving around question the danger of being unaware of the impact that the sounds we make have on others, which can sometimes even be aggressive.

In its quiet presence, the work invites the viewer to imagine the breakdown in communication caused by unconscious everyday actions, and to focus on the relationship between the self, others, and the environment. The work that is Exhibited at Makassar Biennale 2019
